My original plan for my second day in Batumi was to take a long, leisurely bike ride along the shoreline bike path.
Morning rain nixed that plan, but strolling along the nearly-deserted beach turned out to be a wonderful alternative. The overcast sky made colors pop, especially against the rolling fog and the churning gray sea. It was a photographer’s dream and I took full advantage. Even rain couldn’t put a damper on Batumi for me!
